We arrived at Alfacada after being at Riet Vell. We had lunch and got to work.
We filled the water reservoir, which was around 70% full.
Angèlica cleaned the radiometers and flux sensors.
We downloaded met and flux data.
We checked frequency (20hz) and utc time in li7700 and li7500 configurations, following Fanny’s email instructions. They were correct.
We set up the phenocam. We chose to install the rectangular pole lower than we had planned, because it was unstable. Tieing it up with zip ties until the higher part made it more stable. We run out of battery with the PC, and the portable battery did not work (we need a cable usb-c to usb-c). We used Ariane’s PC to check the phenocam’s viewing, but the image was not showing. We blindly adjusted the focus, and we will need to fix it next time.
We left to take samples of Alfacada Lagoon.
To do next time:
- Fix phenocam’s focus
- Fix ventilator (clean it or replace it) – we already replaced the electrical cable connection strip (regleta)
- Ask upstairs to add bird spikes to the new li7700 cap: old one clean, fix spikes and swap it.
