1. Precipitation

· The precipitation bucket is currently recording 0. Used precipitation data from XEMA at Illa de Buda. Need to investigate which reasons might be making the sensor read 0, we checked CRBasic, and programming seems to be okay. Check with Albert, Joa and Daphne if the issue persists.

  1. 4-way Radiometer (CNR4)
  • The CNR4 sensor was misprogrammed in CRBasic, resulting in all channels outputting shortwave radiation values until 2025-04-24.
  • The CRBasic program was corrected.
  • Erroneous data were cut from the affected longwave radiation (incoming and outgoing) and shortwave outgoing channels.
  • Incoming longwave radiation was gapfilled using incoming shortwave radiation, using a quadratic relationship between the two variables from the unaffected period

  • Outgoing longwave radiation was gapfilled using concurrent data from Riet Vell station.
  1. Soil Thermocouple Profiles (TCs)
  • Replicate 1 consistently reports lower values than other thermocouples for depths belowground, it doesn’t happen for depths aboveground.
  • Investigate sensor positioning. Consider swapping Rep 1 and Rep 2 to assess whether the discrepancy is sensor- or location-based.

  1. miniDOT Dissolved Oxygen Data (Eurecat)
  • miniDOT sensors were installed on 2025-04-30.
  • Data are recorded in UTC, and three files are available, need to aggregate data to 30 min timestamps and append files to follow a continuous timeseries equal to our Met_merged code (to do outside Matlab processing, do in R).
  • Invalid data intervals to be removed (to do in Matlab):
    • 2025-04-30: remove data prior to 14:20 (installation period)
    • 2025-05-07: 11:20–12:04
    • 2025-06-03: 12:16–12:42
    • 2025-07-01: 11:50–12:12
  • [TO DO] Add miniDOT data to the met processing routine after concatenation in R.
